I sketched this after we spent almost over a half an hour lost, looking for some art galleries. Many of the streets and buildings began to look the same after a while so I drew this to try to represent our confusion. Along with all the construction, one way streets, and tall buildings I can't imagine how difficult driving around the city would have been.
I sketched this at the Blick art store. I loved the large selection of art supplies and artsy feel of the store. It just made me want to draw some of the things in it.
I drew this in the Art Institute while watching people observe the largest and most famous works of art. It's interesting watching people come and go, and how long some of them stay in front of one piece.
