One Day in Chicago...to see everything
The minute we stepped off the bus we began in search of food, specifically famous Chicago style pizza, since we were starving at this point. So we eventually found a nice Italian restaurant and even though nobody actually ordered pizza, the food was amazing. Then we went Dick Blick, and along the way visited some of the Pop-up Art Loop Galleries. After this stop we ran into some trouble, considering that we all seemed to be directionally challenged. In search of more galleries we probably walked past some of the same buildings two or three times before finally finding the Fine Arts Building, where we visited the 2nd Floor Gallery and other floors displaying art. Next we visited the Bean to jump for art before heading to the Art Institute and the Chicago Cultural Center. With our remaining time, we grabbed a quick dinner, did a little shopping (had to squeeze that in to the agenda), and watched the sun set at the Bean before getting back on the buses. Who knew we could do it all in one day!
